Terms & Policies
RESERVATION POLICIES:
We don’t have a “hard policy”, but we do highly recommend that you book in advance via our website. If the options you want are not available, we suggest you call us. We do keep some options available offline to accommodate adjustment needs for reserved groups or for walk-up clients. Reserved items are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We will cancel all operations in the event of thunder and lightning storms in the area, or in cases of heavy rain or dangerous wind conditions. You may cancel because, well…life happens…sometimes things come up that are out of your control. We want you to enjoy the outdoor experience with us and we will work with you to re-book for another time. If that is absolutely not possible, we will refund your money. It’s pretty simple.
CHECK-IN:
Arriving on site 10min before your scheduled rental is highly encouraged. The additional time allows us to better manage the bookings and get you (and other clients) out on the water quickly and on schedule. We serve reserved clients in order of arrival and before our walk-up clients.
FACILITIES:
We work in the great outdoors. This means the parking area, check-in location and routes to the water are often uneven, rough and change subject to weather conditions. We advise all guests to wear some form of footwear and appropriate dress in all weather conditions.
SAFETY & MEDICAL CONCERNS:
Safety comes before fun. All water activities pose a threat of injury or death. All adult participants will be required to sign a waiver form for themselves and for any minor dependents. Lifejacket use and other safety equipment and practices are mandatory for all people participating in canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding activities. Additionally, some activities can be quite strenuous, especially under possible changing weather conditions. It is the responsibility of each individual to ensure they are physically healthy enough for the appropriate activity. Seek your doctor’s advice before participating in water activities.
